In 1838 Simon Blocquel, a student of Etteilla, published this new version of Etteilla’s deck under the title "Grand livre de Thot." This new version by Blocquel is now known as the Lismon Etteilla or Grand Etteilla Type 2. Similarly to Etteilla, Simon Blocquel habitually used anagrammatic synonyms such as Blismon, Z.
